The Toucan Room is located on the second floor of the Carnot Wing. It is situated right next to the Nightingale Room, Peacock Room and Pelican Room. The Carnot Wing has 3 floors: the ground floor, the first floor and the second floor.

All rooms on the second floor are named after birds.

The rooms on the ground floor are named after the endangered okapi. The okapi is an essential part of the ZOO’s history. The Antwerp ZOO was the first ZOO in the world to have one on display.

The rooms on the first floor are the Gorilla Rooms. The Gorilla is an important animal for our venue, as the ZOO’s silverback Matadi is our icon for instant corporate social responsibility (Instant CSR).

We offer our in-house Elisabeth Catering facility that treats your guests and colleagues to refreshing drinks, and custom-prepared and delicious menus. In line with our sustainability policy, our catering includes vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives to our starters, mains and desserts.
