The Stanley Room is located on the first floor of the Historical Wing and is named after Sir Henry Morton Stanley (born John Rowlands 1841 – 1904), a journalist and explorer who was famous for his exploration of central Africa and his search for David Livingstone. He was knighted in 1899.

"Doctor Livingstone, I presume?"

The Stanley Room is located on the second floor of the Historical Wing and has a beautiful view overlooking the zoo's garden and flamingos.
